RECOMMENDATION(S):

ACCEPT the resignation of Cesar Zepeda, DECLARE a vacancy in the District I Public Sector seat on the Economic Opportunity Council, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The Economic Opportunity Council makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on all program proposals and budgets related to Community Services Block Grant and the Weatherization program, and performs other functions as specified in the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964.

Mr. Zepeda has been successfully serving on the Economic Opportunity Council and now wishes to resign his seat.
