Referral History:

The Department of Conservation and Development, Community Services Block Grant (CDBG) Program, reports to the Family and Human Services Committee at least annually regarding recommendations for funding allocations in the Public Services category and Emergency Solutions Grant funding recommendations.

Referral Update:

Please see the attached report from the CDBG Program Manager.

Recommendation(s)/Next Step(s):

APPROVE recommendations for FY 2016/17 CDBG Public Service (PS) projects as recommended by staff and/or amended by the Committee;
APPROVE recommendations for FY 2016/17 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) projects as recommended by staff and/or amended by the Committee; and
DIRECT the Department of Conservation and Development to prepare a staff report on the Committee’s recommendations, that will accompany their funding recommendations for all other CDBG categories, and forward to the Board of Supervisors for approval.

100% by Community Development Block Grants.
