RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Sheriff-Coroner, or designee, to execute a software license professional service termination Agreement with Sirron Software Corporation effective August 1, 2016.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Savings of $4,860.00 in yearly license fees.

BACKGROUND:

In 2015 a new software provider for civil process was acquired by the Office of the Sheriff, and in anticipation of its full implementation our office no longer requires the services of our current provider Sirron Software Corporation effective August 1, 2016.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Office of the Sheriff-Coroner would be obligated under the current Agreement to continue to pay yearly license fees.
