RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #76-541 with Roobal Sekhon, D.O., an individual, in an amount not to exceed $780,000, to provide pulmonary physician patient care services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers (CCRMC), for the period from April 1, 2016 through March 31, 2019.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% Hospital Enterprise Fund I.

BACKGROUND:

Under Contract #76-541, the Contractor will provide pulmonary services, including but not limited to: consultation, clinic coverage, sleep studies, training, administration, and medical and/or surgical procedures at CCRMC for the period through March 31, 2019.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, patients requiring pulmonary services will not have access to Contractor’s services.
