BACKGROUND:

Members Andiron-Chavez, Powers, and Hansen have continued an excellent job of representing their communities on the Contra Costa Count Board of Directors and Supervisor Federal D. Glover would like to reappoint them for another term. The new two year term would expire December 31, 2018. The purpose of the Western Contra Costa Transit Authority is to own, operate and maintain a public transit system in an effort to meet public transportation needs in Western Contra Costa County.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Positions would remain vacant.
