This Contract meets the social needs of County’s population by providing school and community based mental health services, including assessments; individual, group and family therapy; medication support; case management; outreach; and crisis intervention services for children at Sunrise Elementary School and Olympic/Alliance High School, and their families.

On December 10, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Novation Interagency Agreement #74–371-5 with Mt. Diablo Unified School District, for the period from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014, which included a six-month automatic extension through December 31, 2014, for the provision of school-based mental health services to SED students.

Approval of Interagency Agreement #74–371–6 allows the Agency to continue providing services through June 30, 2015.

Expected program outcomes include an increase in positive social and emotional development as measured by the Child and Adolescent Functional Assessment Scale (CAFAS).
