RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE the refund of overpayment of documentary transfer tax totaling $20,108; and AUTHORIZE the County Auditor-Controller to issue refunds to specific parties, as recommended by the Clerk-Recorder.

FISCAL IMPACT:

The refunds will reduce the General Fund by $20,108. The amount of $13,871 (both the over-payment and reimbursement of documentary transfer tax) are from the fiscal year 2013-2014 general fund. The amount of $6,237 (both the over-payment and reimbursement of documentary transfer tax) are from the fiscal year 2014-2015 general fund.
