RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE the Notice of Intention to Convey Real Property to the Town of Danville for drainage purposes located between Laurel Drive and Sycamore Valley Road, Danville, CA, pursuant to Government Code Section 25365. Project No. 7505-6F8271  
  

DECLARE that this Board will meet on May 5, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. or thereafter, in the Board’s Chambers, County Administration Building, Martinez, California, to consummate the conveyance.  

  




RECOMMENDATION(S): (CONT'D)
DIRECT the Real Estate Division of the Public Works Department to publish the attached Notice of Intention in the Contra Costa Times pursuant to Government Code Section 6061.

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.  

BACKGROUND:

The County has owned Drainage facilities within the city limits of Danville since 1962. The Town of Danville has been maintaining the facilities in this area since its incorporation and has requested that the County transfer ownership of Assessor's Parcel No. 216-062-026 to the Town of Danville to complete its ownership of the drainage channel and related drainage facilities within the property.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The County would continue to have liability on a drainage parcel within the Town of Danville city limits for which the Town of Danville is willing to be fully responsible.
