1.				Introductions

2.				Public comment on any item under the jurisdiction of the Committee and not on this agenda (speakers may be limited to three minutes).
				There were no comments from members of the public.

3.				Approve staff recommendations as submitted.

4.				Approve the recommendation to appoint Nathan Johnson to the Veterans Service Organization Seat with a term expiration of June 30, 2014, as recommended by the Workforce Development Board.
				The Committee directed staff to forward the staff recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for consideration.

5.				Approve staff recommendations for appointments and new appointments as outlined on the attached letter.
				The Committee directed staff to forward the staff recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for consideration.

6.				Accept the report from the Local Planning Council for child Care and Development and refer the report to the Board of Supervisors.
				The Committee accepted the report and directed staff to forward it to the Board of Supervisors for their information.

7.				Accept report and transmit the information to the Board of Supervisors for their information.
				The Committee accepted the report and directed staff to forward it to the Board of Supervisors for their information.

8.				Approve the staff recommendations as discussed in the attached report and direct staff to forward these recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for approval.

9.				CONSIDER staff recommendations for changes to the County's Secondhand Smoke and Tobacco Products control Ordinance and forward Committee recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for approval.
				The Committee accepted the report and directed staff to forward it to the Board of Supervisors for their consideration. Staff was also requested to return to the Committee in six months for consideration of policy options for reducing exposure to tobacco products to youth.

10.				The next meeting is currently scheduled for May 12, 2014.

11.				Adjourn
