RECOMMENDATION(S):

ACCEPT the resignation of D'Ana Clark Youth Representative, Journey Horacek-Lee Youth Representative 2, and Ledamien Flowers At-Large 2, DECLARE three seats vacant from the Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancies, as recommended by the County Probation Officer.

BACKGROUND:

Upon reviewing attendance records for Journey Horacek-Lee and Ledamien Flowers and D'Ana Clark verbal resignation the Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council has made the recommendation to remove Journey Horacek-Lee, Ledamien Flowers and D'Ana Clark. This will leave vacant the Youth Representative 1 seat, Youth Representative 2 seat and the At-Large 2 seat which expires on June 30, 2021.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The committee will not have members who actively participate and it will be difficult to reach a quorum.
