RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE Appropriation and Revenue Adjustment No. 5057 authorizing new revenue in the amount of $49,500 from the Tesoro Foundation and appropriating it in the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District (7300) for the purchase of hazardous multi-gas detection devices and related equipment for use by the District.

FISCAL IMPACT:

100% Tesoro Foundation Grant. No local agency matching funds required.

BACKGROUND:

This revenue and appropriation adjustment authorizes new revenue from the Tesoro Foundation and appropriates it for the purchase of hazardous gas detection equipment for Contra Costa County Fire Protection District's suppression personnel.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Restricted donation revenue will not be appropriated for expenditure by the District.
