RECOMMENDATION(S):

Appoint Nick Despota to the District 1 Seat on the Sustainability Commission for a term to be determined by Board action on a separate report from the Ad Hoc Committee on Sustainability pertaining to the composition and organization of the Sustainability Commission.

BACKGROUND:

To advise the Board of Supervisors on the County's implementation of the County Action Plan; advise the Board on opportunities to increase equity and fairness in the County's sustainability programs; provide recommendations to increase public outreach and participation in sustainability issues and implementation of the Climate Action Plan.
