On March 1, 2016, the County Administrator requested that the Board of Supervisors refer to the Finance Committee a request from the Rodeo Hercules Fire Protection District for a portion of the County's allocation of Proposition 172 sales tax revenue.

Attached for the Committee's consideration is a report on the subject.

Consider staff's report and recommendation to continue the current allocation of Proposition 172 sales tax revenues to the Sheriff-Coroner and District Attorney.
Fiscal Impact (if any):
Initial cost of the request to the County is loss of approximately $744,234, which would increase by 0.5% of growth in future years.
