RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director, or designee, to execute an amendment to the Consulting Services Agreement (CSA) with Vali Cooper & Associates, Inc. (Vali Cooper), effective March 10, 2015, to increase the payment limit by $9,800 to a new payment limit of $242,208, for construction management services for the Marsh Creek Detention Facility Bridge Replacement Project. Project No. 4660-6X4015, Federal Project No. BRLO-5928(068)

FISCAL IMPACT:

This project, including the CSA, is funded by 90% Federal Highway Bridge Program Funds and 10% General Fund.

BACKGROUND:

The Public Works Director, or designee, executed a CSA, dated May 13, 2014, with Vali Cooper for construction management services for the Marsh Creek Detention Facility Bridge Replacement Project.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

Proposed Amendment No. 2 will amend the payment limit of the CSA so that the consultant can be compensated for providing additional construction management services.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The consultant would not be compensated for providing additional construction management services.
