RECOMMENDATION(S):

On behalf of the Advisory Council on Aging, it is recommended that the Board of Supervisors take the following action:
Declare vacant the Member-at-Large Seat #19 held by Mr. Samuel Yoshioka and request the Clerk of the Board's policy for filling this vacancy. Mr. Yoshioka resigned his position effective February 17, 2009.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None

BACKGROUND:

Mr. Samuel Yoshioka formerly occupied the local committee seat for Pleasant Hill. On August 4, 2007, he was appointed to fill a member-at-large seat (#19) for the Advisory Council on Aging. The term expiration for Seat #19 is September 30, 2010. On February 17, 2009, Mr. Yoshioka resigned from his member-at-large seat.
