Recommendation(s):

Approve Appropriation and Revenue Adjustment No. 5069 authorizing new revenue in the amount $123,372 from accumulated depreciation and estimated salvage and appropriating it to purchase three replacement vehicles for the Public Works Department.

Fiscal Impact:

This action provides appropriations from depreciation and salvage for the replacement of three vehicles. The estimated purchase cost of $174,180 will be funded with accumulated depreciation ($117,372), estimated salvage ($6,000) and funds ($50,808) from the Public Works Department Road Fund FY2008/09 Budget.

Background:

The Public Works Department is replacing one passenger van and two loader/tool carriers, which meet replacement policy guidelines.
