FISCAL IMPACT:

This action will increase the County's ability to execute on the judgments obtained
pursuant to the Board of Supervisor's authorization.

BACKGROUND:

The parties involved have demonstrated an unwillingness to reimburse Contra Costa County for
services provided. It is necessary for the County to preserve its interest by initiating appropriate
action against the responsible parties.
