BACKGROUND:

On December 16, 2008, the Board of Supervisors made three appointments to the five-member CCRCD Board of Directors. We were recently informed (see attached letter) that one other directors, Mr. James R.S. Toland, has passed away and a new appointment needs to be made.

The District Board has nominated Bethallyn Black for appointment to the Board of Directors to complete the unexpired term ending November 30, 2010. Attached is a letter from the District Board transmitting the nomination and Ms. Black’s application. The Internal Operations Committee, on March 11, reviewed and approved Ms. Black's nomination.
