RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPOINT Vincent Salimi to the District 1 Seat on the Contra Costa County Aviation Advisory Committee to complete the current term ending February 28, 2023 and to a new term ending February 28, 2026 as recommended by Supervisor Gioia.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None

BACKGROUND:

The purpose of the AAC is to provide advice and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County on aviation issues that (i) are related to the economic viability and security of airports in Contra Costa County, and (ii) affect the general welfare of people living and working near the airports and in the broader community. The current seat term ends this month (February 28, 2023) and the subsequent term will end February 28, 2026.

None.
