The Fish and Wildlife Committee advises the Board of Supervisors on fish and wildlife issues in Contra Costa County and makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for the expenditure of funds from the Fish and
Wildlife Propagation Fund pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 13103. The committee addresses issues surrounding the enforcement of fish and game laws and regulations in the County. The committee considers other
issues which may from time to time be referred to the Committee by the Board of Supervisors. The committee consists of ten members. One appointed by each Supervisor, four appointed by the Internal Operations Committee, and one alternate. The alternate can sit and vote for any At-large seat on the Committee. If a vacancy occurs, the alternate automatically assumes the At-large seat that is vacant.
