Referral History:

On December 6, 2011 the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 2011/497 adopting policy governing appointments to boards, committees, and commissions that are advisory to the Board of Supervisors. Included in this resolution was a requirement that applications for at large/countywide seats be reviewed by the Board of Supervisors sub-committee.

Referral Update:

Please see the attached memo from the Contra Costa Commission for Women, which details their request to reappoint three members and appoint two new members. The total Commission membership consists of twenty members and one alternate. If these appointments are approved, the Commission will continue their efforts to fill the remaining three vacant seats.
