RECOMMENDATION(S):
Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #25-076 with Anka Behavioral Health, Inc., a non-profit corporation, in an amount not to exceed $630,770, to operate care centers and provide evening outreach services for the Homeless Coordinated Entry System of Care, for the period from January 1, 2017 through September 30, 2017.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 70% Mental Health Realignment; 20% Housing and Urban Development Coordinated Entry; and 10% Community Development Block Grant.
BACKGROUND:
This Contract meets the social needs of County’s population by providing support services to Contra Costa County families that are homeless, including case management, day shelter services, transportation needs, mental health assessment and crisis intervention.
