RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #27-687-6 with Hilltop Radiology, LLC (dba Hilltop Imaging and Diagnostic Center), a Limited Liability Company, in an amount not to exceed $850,000, to provide diagnostic imaging services to Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) members, for the period from March 1, 2017 through February 28, 2019.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% Contra Costa Health Plan Enterprise Fund II. (No rate increase)

BACKGROUND:

On May 5, 2015, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #27-687-5 with Hilltop Radiology, LLC (dba Hilltop Imaging and Diagnostic Center), for the period from March 1, 2015 through February 28, 2017 to provide diagnostic imaging services for CCHP members. Approval of Contract #27-687-6 will allow Contractor to continue providing diagnostic imaging services through February 28, 2019.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, certain specialized professional health care services for its members under the terms of their Individual and Group Health Plan membership contracts with the County will not be provided.
