RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #23-531-7 with Nordic Consulting Partners, Inc., a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $700,000, to provide consultation and technical assistance to Department’s Information Systems Unit in support of CCLink, for the period from January 1, 2016 through June 30, 2018.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase)

BACKGROUND:

On October 23, 2014, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23-531-6 with Nordic Consulting Partners, Inc. for the provision of consultation and technical assistance to Department’s Information Systems Unit in support of CCLink, for the period from October 1, 2014 through December 31, 2015.

Approval of Contract #23-531-7 will allow Contractor to continue providing consulting services through June 30, 2018.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, the Department will not have access to Contractor’s expert consultation and technical assistance in support of CCLink.
