Introductions

Public comment on any item under the jurisdiction of the Committee and not on this agenda (speakers may be limited to three minutes).

Direct the Affirmative Action Officer to create an Equal Employment Opportunity Task Force to work on non-discrimination policies, outreach goals and recommend procedures as the County moves forward.

The Committee approved the recommendation and directed staff to return with a status report at the next meeting.

DIRECT the Contra Costa Fire Protection District, Human Resources and Affirmative Action to continue working together to attain our recruitment goals.

The Committee approved the recommendation as presented.

The next meeting is currently scheduled for March 10, 2014.

The Committee decided to cancel the March 10, 2014 meeting.
