Referral History:
The Contra Costa Fire Protection District, Human Resources and Affirmative Action have worked together in the past to create and implement outreach and recruitment strategies to reach underutilized groups.
Referral Update:
In December 2013, the Contra Costa Fire Protection District requested that Human Resources and Affirmative Action keep the Battalion Chief recruitment internal. After several discussions and meeting, an agreement was made recruit internally for the Battalion Chief and to open the Fire Chief recruitment to the public.

DIRECT the Contra Costa Fire Protection District, Human Resources and Affirmative Action to continue working together to attain our recruitment goals.
