BACKGROUND:

The functions of the Arts and Culture Commission include advising the Board of Supervisors in matters and issues relevant to the Arts and Culture, to advance the arts in a way that promotes communication, education, appreciation and collaboration throughout Contra Costa County.

Dyana Bhandari has been serving successfully on the Arts & Culture Commission and Supervisor Gioia wishes to reappoint her.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this action is not approved, the seat will become vacant.
