RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE Appropriation Adjustment No.5054 authorizing the transfer of appropriations in the amount of $17,868 from the Sheriff's Office (0255) to General Services - Fleet Replacement (0064) for the cost of upgrades to ISF units #589, 343, 5575, 701 and 2750.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This action increases appropriations in General Services - Fleet Replacement (0064) and reduces appropriations in the Office of the Sheriff (0255) by $17,868.

BACKGROUND:

The Office of the Sheriff had purchased 5 replacement vehicles through General Services Internal Service Fund, which due to changes in departmental needs, had to be upgraded. This includes: three Ford Taurus Sedans that are being upgraded to Ford PPI Sedans; one Ford F250 truck and one Ford Taurus that are being upgraded to two Toyota Sienna vans. This appropriation adjustment will cover the cost of all upgrades for the units.
