RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve amended Conflict of Interest Code for the Lafayette School District.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The Lafayette School District has amended its Conflict of Interest Code and has submitted the amended Code to the Board for approval pursuant to Government Code sections 87306 and 87306.5. The amended Code reflects incorporation of the Fair Political Practices Commission Model Code. Appendix A to the Code has been amended to include revised titles of existing positions previously covered by the Code.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Lafayette School District will not be in compliance with Government Code sections 87306 and 87306.5.
