RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Conservation and Development Director, or designee, to execute a contract with CirclePoint increasing the payment limit by $96,749 to an amount not to exceed $441,261 for continued services related to the Environmental Impact Report for the New Farm project in the Tassajara Valley (San Ramon area) with no change to the contract term.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$96,749, 100% Land Development Fund. The increased payment limit will be paid from permit application fees associated with this project.
BACKGROUND:
The Department of Conservation and Development contracted with CirclePoint on November 1, 2010 to prepare an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for a 187 unit residential project located in the Tassajara Valley that requires approval of General Plan Amendment, Rezoning, Subdivision and Development Plan applications. CirclePoint has been working on the EIR and has identified additional environmental services that are needed to complete the EIR. Subsequently, the scope of work has changed and includes new traffic and visual environmental services that are needed to complete the EIR.
