RECOMMENDATION(S):
Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Interagency Agreement # 28-760-5 with West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD), to pay County in an amount of $60,000, for the WCCUSD School Health and Support Services Coordinator Project, for the period from September 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this Interagency Agreement will result in a total payment to the County not to exceed $60,000 of funding for the WCCUSD School Health and Support Services Coordinator Project. No County match required.
BACKGROUND:
The goal of the WCCUSD School Health and Support Services Coordinator Project is to establish systems to insure the effective delivery of health and mental health services at Richmond High School including maintaining a Student Advisory Board and an Adult Advisory Board, managing infrastructure needs, implementing a comprehensive referral process, facilitating contracting with partner agencies and developing a sustainability plan in collaboration with the district level coordinator.
