RECOMMENDATION(S):

ACCEPT resignation of Lydia Ned-Jones, DECLARE a vacancy in Low-Income Seat Number 2 on the Economic Opportunity Council, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy, as recommended by the Employment and Human Services Director.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None

BACKGROUND:

Ms. Ned-Jones was appointed to this position March 2, 2010 to a term expiring 6/30/12. She has submitted her resignation effective January 23, 2012.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Economic Opportunity Council will be unable to conduct routine business.
