RECOMMENDATION(S):

Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21029 to add one Network Administrator II (LNSB) position at salary level ZA5 1787 ($6096.52 - 7410.35) in the Health Services Department.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Additional cost of approximately $147,549 annually, including $42,157 in pension costs, will be funded from the Enterprise II fund.

BACKGROUND:

The Network Administator II position will be assigned to the Health Services Information Technology Division and is needed to support the division wide backup solution, support windows servers, and manage the storage network architecture.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this action is not approved, the Health Services Information Technology Division will not have the appropriately classified position to perform the required job duties.
