RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve amendments to the Board of Retirement of the Contra Costa County Employees’ Retirement Association’s Conflict of Interest Code to substitute the attached as said code.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The Board of Retirement of the Contra Costa County Employees’ Retirement Association has amended its code and submitted the amended code to the Board for approval pursuant to Government Code section 87306 and 87306.5. The Association has revised its Code to add Exhibit C, a list of the Board and Agency positions that file Form 700 pursuant to Government Code section 87200. Also, the list of designated positions has been revised to modify titles of existing positions. These changes are shown on the attached ‘red-line’ version of the code.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Conflict of Interest Code for the Board of Retirement of the Contra Costa County Employees' Retirement Association will not be amended pursuant to Government Code 87306 and 87306.5.
