RECOMMENDATION(S):

ACCEPT the 2010 Annual Report of the Advisory Council on Aging for the period of January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010, as submitted by Employment and Human Services Director.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None

BACKGROUND:

On June 18, 2002, the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 2002/377, requiring that each regular and ongoing board, commission and/or committee shall annually report to the Board of Supervisors on its activities. accomplishments, membership attendance, required training and certification programs and proposed work plan/objectives for the following year. The attached report fulfills the requirement for the Advisory Council on Aging.  
  


CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Advisory Council on Aging will be out of compliance with Board Resolution 2002/377.
