RECOMMENDATION(S):
TERMINATE the emergency action taken by the Board of Supervisors on April 10, 2007, pursuant to Public Contract Code Sections 22035 and 22050, to implement the Lower Walnut Creek Interim Protection Measures project, Pacheco area.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The total project cost was $4,612,000 funded by Flood Control Zone 3B Funds.
BACKGROUND:
On April 10, 2007, the Board of Supervisors declared an emergency and authorized the Chief Engineer to proceed in the most expeditious manner to repair or replace the Lower Walnut Creek flood control facility as directed by the US Army Corps of Engineers.
