RECOMMENDATION(S):

Receive and accept the 2020 Annual Report of the Arts and Culture Commission of Contra Costa County (AC5), as recommended by the Commission staff.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

On December 13, 2011, the Board of Supervisors (the Board) adopted Resolution No. 2011/497, which requires each advisory board, commission, or committee to report annually to the Board on its activities, accomplishments, membership attendance, required training/certification, and proposed workplan or objectives for the following year. This annual report is due to the Board in December. The attached report fulfills this requirement for the Arts and Culture Committee.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Arts and Culture Committee would not fulfill the annual report requirement to the Board.
