RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE Appropriation and Revenue Adjustment No. 5011 authorizing the transfer of $112,500 from Road Construction (0662) to the Buchanan Field Airport (0841) for the use of airport parcels as temporary construction areas needed for the Marsh Drive Bridge Project, County Project No. 0662-6R4119.

FISCAL IMPACT:

100% Road Funds.

BACKGROUND:

Contra Costa County Public Works Department is replacing the Marsh Drive Bridge over the Walnut Creek Channel. During construction, temporary construction areas are needed. Areas of the Buchanan Field Airport property have been identified for Temporary Construction Areas. Appraisals to determine fair market value for use of land have been completed.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Airport Enterprise Fund will not be compensated for the use of the land needed for construction staging.
