RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Contract #76-713 with Daniel Matthew Fentress, M.D., an individual, in an amount not to exceed $384,000, to provide emergency medicine services for Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) and Health Center patients, for the period December 1, 2020 through November 30, 2022.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This contract will be funded 100% by Hospital Enterprise Fund I.

BACKGROUND:

Under Contract #76-713, Contractor will provide emergency medicine services for CCRMC and Health Center patients for the period December 1, 2020 through November 30, 2022.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, County’s patients will not have access to Contractor’s services.
