RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2019/666 accepting as complete the contracted work performed by Bay Cities Paving & Grading for the Contra Costa County Local Streets and Roads Preservation Project, as recommended by the Public Works Director, Byron and El Sobrante areas. County Project No. 0662-6R4138, Federal Project No. STPL-5928(148) (Districts I & III)

FISCAL IMPACT:

The Project was funded by 66% One Bay Area Grant-Local Streets and Roads Preservation Fund, 34% Local Road Fund.

BACKGROUND:

The Public Works Director reports that said work has been inspected and complies with the approved plans, special provisions and standard specifications and recommends its acceptance as complete as of November 6, 2019.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The contractor will not be paid and acceptance notification will not be recorded.
