RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Contract #27-287-12 with Louis Klein, M.D., an individual, in an amount not to exceed $500,000, to provide OB/GYN services for the Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP), for the period from December 1, 2019 through November 30, 2021.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% by CCHP Enterprise II Funds.

BACKGROUND:

Under Contract #27-287-12, the Contractor will provide OB/GYN services to CCHP members for the period from December 1, 2019 through November 31, 2021.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, this Contractor’s OB/GYN services will not be provided for CCHP members.
