RECOMMENDATIONS

RECEIVE oral report on the status of the possible dissolution of the City of Richmond's housing authority and how this may affect the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa (HACCC).

BACKGROUND

Staff will provide an oral update on the status of the possible dissolution of the City of Richmond's housing authority.

FISCAL IMPACT

If the City of Richmond ever dissolved their housing authority, the financial effect on HACCC would vary based on the financial condition of the Richmond Housing Authority at the time it was dissolved and the course of action sought by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the City of Richmond as well as the course of action taken by HACCC.
