RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute Contract #23-604 with Unify Inc., a Delaware corporation, in an amount not to exceed $375,000 for hardware, software implementation and support services for vendor’s Openscape HiPath 4000 phone system for Contra Costa County Regional Medical Center for, for the period from December 20, 2016 through December 19, 2017.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% by Hospital Enterprise Fund I.

BACKGROUND:

The Health Services Department has been using the aging and current phone system to support the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center for several years. This product will replace the outdated technology and hardware with the new Openscape HiPath 400 software and hardware.
