RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2016/662 accepting as complete, the contracted work performed by Bay Cities Paving & Grading, Inc., for the Canal Road Sidewalk and Bike Lane Project, as recommended by the Public Works Director, Bay Point area. Project No. 0662-6R4062, Federal Project No. SR2SL 5928 (116) (District V)

FISCAL IMPACT:

Project was funded by 35% Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Lifeline Transportation Grant Funds, 16% Safe Routes to School Funds and 49% Local Gas Tax Funds.

BACKGROUND:

The Public Works Director reports that said work has been inspected and complies with the approved plans, special provisions and standard specifications and recommends its acceptance as complete as of October 12, 2016.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The contractor will not be paid and acceptance notification will not be recorded.
