BACKGROUND:

Contra Costa College District receives funds from the State of California Department of Education for State Preschool program services. The District, in turn, contracts with Contra Costa Employment & Human Services Department Community Services Bureau to provide the services. The agreement is for part-day and full-day preschool services to program eligible children and families during the term July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013. The state routinely amends these agreements to add funding.
