RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2012/489 accepting as complete the contracted work performed by Valley Slurry Seal Company for the Countywide Arterial Micro-Surfacing project, as recommended by the Public Works Director. County Project No. 0662-6R4066 / Federal Project No. STPL-5928(106)

FISCAL IMPACT:

Project was funded by 88.8% Federal CMA Block Grant- Local Streets and Roads Shortfall Program funds and 11.2% Measure J-RTS funds.

BACKGROUND:

The Public Works Director reports that said work has been inspected and complies with the approved plans, special provisions and standard specifications and recommends its acceptance as complete as of November 14, 2012.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The contractor will not be paid and acceptance notification will not be recorded.
