RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Chair, Board of Supervisors to execute Agreement 362 to provide right-of-way services by Contra Costa County (County) to the Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) for the I-80/San Pablo Dam Road Interchange Reconstruction Project, in the amount not to exceed $413,000.

FISCAL IMPACT:

100% CCTA funding.

BACKGROUND:

CCTA requires a variety of right-of-way services but has no right of way staff and desires to contract with the County for these services. The Real Estate staff will perform various right-of-way services, including but not limited to appraisal, negotiations, relocation and supervision of independent contractors.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

CCTA would not be able to contract for the County’s right-of-way services.
