RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2011/492 approving the second extension of the Subdivision Agreement for
subdivision SD 05-08950 for a project being developed by Avalon Bay Communities, Inc., as recommended by

the Public Works Director, Pleasant Hill (Contra Costa Centre) area. (District V)

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

The improvements have been completed with the exception of punch list items. Granting an extension gives the developer an additional year to complete the minor deficiencies and keeps the bonding current during the warranty period.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Subdivision Agreement will not be renewed if the extension is not granted.
