RECOMMENDATION(S):

ACCEPT the report from the Local Child Care and Development Planning Council on their accomplishments, challenges, activities and self-evaluation, as recommended by the Family and Human Services Committee.

None. Information only.

BACKGROUND:

On November 14, 2011 the Family and Human Services Committee received a report from the Local Child Care Planning Council for Child Care and Development on there key accomplishments, challenges, activities and self-evaluation. The Committee accepted the report, thanked the Local Child Care Planning Council and requested that the report be submitted to the Board of Supervisors for their information and acceptance.

The Local Planning Council for Child Care and Development supports the efforts of the County to insure that Children are Healthy and Ready for School.
