RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #27-854 with Advent Advisory Group, LLC., a Corporation, in an amount not to exceed $86,000, to provide compliance auditing services for the period from October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2013.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% by Health Plan Member Premiums.

BACKGROUND:

This Contract meets the social needs of County’s population by providing NCQA, HEDIS and Medicare Data Validation audits for the 2012 and 2013 reporting periods. These audits are required for CCHP to maintain compliance with Federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and regulations and the State requirements for operating a Health Plan.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
Approval of Contract #27-854 will allow Contractor to provide compliance auditing services through September 30, 2013, including mutual indemnification to hold harmless both parties for any claims arising out of the performance of this Contract and modifications to County’s Standard General Conditions.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, CCHP will not obtain their NCQA, HEDIS or Medicare Data Validation compliance audits from this vendor, and the Health Plan may become out of compliance with Federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations and the State requirements for operating a Health Plan.

CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:

Not Applicable.
